The DS house is located on an undulating, wooded site on the edge of the Quatre Piliers forest. The building is oriented North/South in order to link two glades, making the most of existing views of the site. The entrance and the living areas are turned toward the sun, while the bedroom area extends north like a periscope to create views through the trees.
The views from the house are always multiple: from the inside through a courtyard to the landscape, or through a patio to another interior, or even through other interiors to the landscape.

La maison DS est située sur un terrain vallonné et boisé en bordure de la forêt des Quatre Piliers. La construction s’oriente nord-sud afin de relier deux clairières, profitant ainsi des meilleures vues du site et d’un meilleur ensoleillement. L’entrée et les espaces de vie se tournent vers le soleil, tandis que les chambres s’étirent au nord tel un périscope pour mieux voir à travers les arbres.
Les vues depuis la maison sont toujours multiples : depuis l’intérieur, le regard parcours un patio jusqu’à la végétation, ou une cour révélant un autre intérieur, ou encore la juxtaposition des pièces dévoilant le paysage.
